Julie Baer has written and illustrated five picture books, including the forthcoming titles, Love Me Later, and Lilly Looking. Her book art portfolio was awarded the Don Freeman Memorial Grant from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and was published in RSVP’s directory of illustration as a finalist in its annual national competition. Ms. Baer’s portraits and nature paintings have been exhibited widely in galleries, museums, non-profit institutions, and corporate environments, and have received many awards and honors, including fellowships from the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture. Her works are held in private collections as well as the collections of numerous non-profits, including Yeshiva University Museum, the Dora Teitelboim Center for Yiddish Culture, and Project Hope.
