      The blockIsland cooking table has a purist and functional design. The minimalist aluminium frame supports an oak-veneer table top raised to an ergonomic height in the cooking area. An additional preparation area with integrated, coverable food containers is provided by a white work-block made of a solid-surface mineral that slides out in an aluminium profile. Once the cooking is done, the worktop slides across to cover the four-plate, ceramic Bosch hob, giving an unobstructed view of a sophisticated dining table for five people.
