      When designing the Art DIOS side-by-side refrigerator the idea was to turn living space into an art gallery with the aid of consumer products. The designers chose a motif from the “modern flower” series, whose subdued colour contrasts emphasise the luxurious pattern. The manufacture of the design employs a special glass-printing technology that creates a three-dimensional effect. Crystals, which could previously be applied only at the front, are now affixed to the back for the first time. The ice maker and water dispenser are activated by pressing slightly against a water container. The refrigerator keeps vegetables fresh and nutritious for a longer period by simulating the conditions that exist during photosynthesis. Rapid freezing down to minus 35 degrees is the best way to store food. The Art DIOS side-by-side refrigerator also includes a home bar that, unlike conventional home bars, opens smoothly with just a gentle touch of the hand.
