We discovered Loop.ph last week with their beautiful BioWall, and now we can't get enough of the British design duo. CSM research fellow Rachel Wingfield and artist Mathias Gmachl collaborate to develop new interactive surfaces, utilizing radiant light, photoluminescence, and organic processes in their designs. Their impressive portfolio is filled with items I covet for my house, including the BioWall, light-reactive blinds, electroluminescent wallpaper, a light alarm-clock, and a table that records your movements. Loop.ph's work aims to provide a more intuitive understanding of the natural environment, from day-night cycles to power consumption, investigationg physiological effects of light and colour on the human body. They are currently developing textile-based ambient displays for the home with active textiles that visualise information through dynamic pattern and colour change. 设计师网页推荐:http://loop.ph/twiki/bin/view/Loop/
